Our longstanding partner, adidas have opened their flagship store in North Africa in the heart of Casablanca. The five floor establishment is dedicated to Womenswear, Menswear, Originals, Football and Young Athletes.
To mark the opening of the flagship, our brief was to create a 30 second promotional video that took a regional spin on the global platform; ‘Here To Create’ - a campaign focused on empowering the female athlete and the importance of embracing creativity within sport.
A key element in the creation of engaging and relatable content was teaming up with local influencer, Zineb Rachid. Using a Moroccan influencer allowed us to regionalise the global ‘Here To Create’ video and showcase the spirit of creativity in Casablanca to the local market.
Our creative approach was to highlight the old and new of the city. Extensive research into our shooting locations was carried out in order to scout out the areas that best represented the city on a cultural level. Starting at the oldest Mosque in Casablanca, Hassan II, situated by the ocean front - we adventured through the town, tackling the intricate old street blocks and traditional Souks until we reached the hustle and bustle of modern Moroccan retail, leading to the reveal of the
Within 48 hours the content generated 340K views, 358 shares, 3.4K likes and 144
comments on Facebook alone. Since the 30 sec film launched on 6th June 2017,
the video has reached 1.6M on social and counting.
